Alps 2011 + 7
We were now playing our duration at the Hotel by ear as we had not received any updates from the repair centre. With this in mind, we set off by foot into town with a view to hiring a scooter, so as to get about a bit further a field.
We hired a 100cc Honda scooter from a local Moto dealer/hire centre and hit the road once again. Our hire duration was 3 or 4 hours , which would pass by very quickly! We rode the length of the lake, did a u-turn and headed off up over the hills on the western side of Lake Garda.
We picked up the road that led us to the Tremalzo Pass and stopped at a very nice restaurant en-route - Ristorante La Forra.

I took the little scooter on an off-road excursion for a short while , in for a penny ....but thought it best not to attempt the Tremalzo on it!
On our ride back we called in to restaurant with a terrace view to die for ,for lunch , before returning the scooter and doing some rounds of the town, again.

Another day over , another day began and we walked in a westerly direction from the Hotel to Grotta Cascata Varone on the SP37 to take a look at a waterfall that was a 'pay per view' tourist attraction. The gift shop before entry was the usual thing and nothing out of the ordinary but the waterfall itself was quite remarkable!
